TOPIC: Pre-sale question....

My client wants to sell CD + download packages. (In other words, the buyer would get a downloadable version of the CD right away, and seller would also mail out an actual, physical autographed CD.)

Is there any reason I couldn't use Quicksell for this?

The only reason I can think of is if Paypal doesn't collect the buyer's mailing address when this type of Paypal button is used.

I realize that sounds like I don't know much about how Paypal works! And that's true, I don't, so please excuse me if this is a dumb question. Your extension looks really great.

Unfortunately quicksell is selling non-shipping goods and it's not collecting any post information. Therefore there is no option for you to have the buyer's address.

If your client is interested though, I can do a custom version.

Around 3 days needed, 360 GBP cost total (including software copy).

I have one other question. I think the parameter in the button that needs to be changed for my purpose is this: <input type="hidden" name="no_shipping" value="1"/>

My understanding is that changing that value to 2 would force the person to have to give their address when they're in Paypal.

Is that the solution you were going to develop for me, or were you thinking of programming something fancier?
