TOPIC: Upload and Update files

I would like to keep the control of my files and some times upload or update them by FTP.

1. If I have a folder declared at Storage Direcory field of configuration, the upload page offers the possibility to use FTP only to administrator/components/com_quicksell/uploads. Will the files be moved later to the storage folder?

2. Using the drag & drop system to upload files, will they be stored at same folder?

3. If I update a file via FTP I get a error message in quicksell admin component telling that is not possible to get it and filesize appears as zero (and file download button is not displayed at frontend). If I delete the file in quicksell admin, the file keeps at folder but it is not more on the list. How to refresh the list with this and other FTP uploaded files?

Thanks in advance.

I deleted some files from the list and now just I can see them newly at final of the list. I figure out that they was updated. This may reply my 3th question!

Hi!

Question 1:
You have to move the files manually.

Question 2:
Yes, they will be in same folder as ftp uploads

Question 3:
The error might have come from some permission issue. QuickSell automatically detects the updated file, it's not a problem usually.

Ok. I have further related details to the questions.

1. Is it not possible to change the FTP directory?

2. If FTP directory can be changed at configuration, the upload drag/drop system will be useful for me. It's not quickly to upload and have to move the files manually.

3. This question is solved in my last message. Thanks.
