Hi, after installing Quicksell Business and (I think) configuring it properly, all seems well until the user tries to download the PDF file from the link provided which returns an error: FPDF error: "Unable to find xref table - Maybe a Problem with 'auto_detect_line_endings' "

Can you tell me what this refers to and how I might fix it please?

Many thanks, Russ

Dear Russ,

That's a quick fix.

You need to save the pdf in different compression/format, that's a glitch in the pdf framework (unfortunately). Please try with PDF-X format, or the "Reduced PDF size" if you use adobe acrobat.

Both of these always worked for me.

Kindest reagards,
Deian

Hi Deian, yes that does appear to work ok thanks.

There was another error about the 'PDF being broken' but when I turned the QR Code security off (which I don't really need) it was fine.

Nice component mate!

Cheers, Russ :cheer:

Hi Russ,

Thanks for the heads up, I will look into it, last time I checked it was working properly. It's using Google API though, so that might have caused it.

Thanks for the kind words!

Hi, actually mate I'm still having some problems opening some PDF files following download from the Quicksell link. They are fine before they're uploaded and I've turned all the additional security, printing setting etc off but, by the time they're downloaded from the website, Acrobat says they are 'broken'.

Other, very simple PDFs however are fine. Any ideas?

I have an idea, can you send me one of these broken files via email?
