TOPIC: After sale questions

After intense tests in paypal sandbox,
some questions are left:

1. If I pick up a single item with "buy now",
the return page after payment is the shop as it should be.

If I pick up item(s) via "add to cart",
the return page after payment is the start site of homepage
which is not the way it should be (need to scroll down).
How is that ?

2. There is no return landing page when a customer withdraws the order,
it tries to find something, but the site is not there ?

3. I was just reading about business edition Ver. 3.3.4 changelog,
which should solve my issue with creating free downloads.
When I hit the "downloads latest version" on your site, the message is:
"Sorry, you have not made any orders yet." ?

4. I`d like to have the customer the regular download after purchase
plus the email delivery/notification (without files attached).

So the customer can download several times within a time limit
and have the links available in the mailbox as well.

Creating the paypal button,
my settings are email delivery "on", attach files unticked.

As far as I can see, the sandbox customer does only receive confirmation of order,
but not the email delivery from the shop ?

You mean it's missing the ItemId? Can you provide me a link via email?

That's how it works.

You can leave these unchanged, the important is that in the main configuration you have them as desired. These are optional.

Actually if sandbox account is properly setup (with ipn live as real account and etc) it should also receive the email delivery. Are you seeing the orders in the backend? How is the email of the joomla site setup? It's using smtp right?

In general and to all points in question,
you can test the shop from my site backend if it helps,
just let me know and I`ll provide datas.

1. What I mean is, the "buy now" and "add to cart" are landing
on different pages after purchase and return,
"buy now" is landing at the shop,
"add to cart" is landing at the homepage start site.
I`d like to have both returning to the shop.

I see what's going on, for some reason the ItemId is missing when going trough cart. I will check on that today.
