TOPIC: Some questions

Hi Deian!
Some questions about your extension.

1) I've upload via ftp my PDF and all is ok but when I download it, it loses the extension. So for example the file RP1.pdf ceomes protected_rp1
This mean that if you click on it the system asks you with which program open the file...
Is there a way to solve this problem?

2) In my PDF there are anchors. It is a magazine and it has got a summary. If you click on an image in the summary in the original PDF you are redirected to the specific article. When I download the protected PDF these anchors there are no more.
Is it possible to do something?

1) I will try on my server, that's really strange. That via download or via email delivery or both?

2) To be honest I'm not sure if there's a quick fix for that. That depends on the pdf framework really. I will have to check on that too.

Waiting for a solution for other problems I suggest you one more thing.

3) QR Security Code is very nice but it has some problems with images and colored boxes. I have realized a PDF starting from Quark Xpress. Now the qr code is shown only in pages in which there is nothing in the corner. If there is an image or a colored box the QR code is not shown. Probably it goes below the image or the box.

About problem

1) I'm using Joomla 3.2.3 if you need it. The strange thing is that when I start the download it recognises the type of the file because it shows the PDF icon and it asks me to open the file with acrobat. But if I download it it loses the extension so to open it I have got to say that is a PDF.

About question

1) It seems that loses the extension with Firefox and Eplorer. The only browser that doesn't lose the .pdf extension is Chrome.

So:
Chrome --> protected_rp1.pdf
Explorer --> protected_rp1
Firefox --> protected_rp1
