TOPIC: issues with component

hello,
I just purchased and installed your component "quicksell" and I'm having a few issues with it...I have a joomla 2.5.20 site. It installed and configured for the most part the 2 issues I'm having is this
1. I create the button and place the code in the article in which I want to have the downloadable PDF and it doesn't show the title , the price is free. I get a button that looks like the attached screen shot.
2. I never get an email with the password to allow me to open the file that downloaded.
Can you let me know what the problem is

Sorry for the delayed response we had troubles with the hosting provider.

1. Do you see the button like this on frontend and backend when composing the button?
2. Have you enabled instant payment notifications under Profile > My selling tools in PayPal?

No when composing the button, and the code I c/p shows the title of the file as it was typed. it's only when it is displayed it shows %%title%% like the screen shot I attached. i have not connected to pay pal at all as i have no need for a payment gateway, the files are free to download because a user pays for an account to the system, not the files. We selected this component basically because it allowed the pdf's to be encrypted and print restricted. which i do get an encrypted download of the pdf, but I never get an email with the password, and well the title issue.

I'm finally back from vacation and completely available...

Regarding your questions:
Can you tell me what is the usage scenario? This %%title%% is intended to show only when generating a button, not in live mode, can I see some URL?

the scenario is that a student, pays for a course and they get a log in for what ever course they purchased, they component was to allow them to download a chapter, encrypted and non printable so they could access the material off line if they so desired, that's why we don't need a payment gateway to something like pay pal, the course is already purchased.
