TOPIC: Purchase history?

Perhaps this is wishful thinking on my part, but I seem to recall reading that there was some way for me to create a page that would allow registered users to log in and review their purchase history and optionally re-download a previous purchase. I cannot find any discussion about how to do this, however, which is leading me to believe that it isn't really possible.

Assuming this is possible, can someone give me a pointer on how to get started building this?

In the "Orders" page on the back end, I see a section at the bottom entitled Manually add order to specific user. I did this as a test, and while the order shows up as "Completed" in the global order history, it isn't clear to me how the user is supposed to download the file once I have "given" it to them. How is the user supposed to access this file? I'm hoping it will simply appear on the order history page I'm asking about above, once I figure out how to do that....

Please go to:
Menu >> your menu >> create

Select menu item type
QuickSell >> My Orders

Make sure the menu item is set to be visible by registered users.
