TOPIC: Must remove .htaccess security to use component?

I have recently installed the QuickSell component on a site and setup was a breeze, and it works great... except for one little thing... during testing I noticed that on the live site, any page it loaded on was asking for my .htaccess login credentials for the admin folder. This is a well known measure of security for Joomla sites that I don't want to have to disable just to run the component.

My first thought was to just move the component's default images folder from 'administration/images' to just 'images/component'. However, after doing this I still cannot access any pages that load the component without first putting in my .htaccess credentials. I have had to turn off the .htaccess protection for now, but I will be going with a different component if it can't run with .htaccess protection in place.

Is there a solution for this?

And on another note, is there no search feature in this forum?

You are right. Right now it requires you to remove the .htaccess password. Solution is coming though!
1. I will change that asap and issue an update (within hours/a day)
2. Search for the forum - I will enable it now.
