TOPIC: aotomatically calculate VAT according to "country"

I had searched this forum, no topic is about "VAT" (value-added tax).

This is a request by a Joomla user in Germany. He said all customers from Germany will be charged VAT, but customers from other countries will not.

Since they sell PDF to all world, there should be a method in the shopping cart extension to solve this problem. That is: when the buyer click on "buy now" button, there will pop-up a form to let the customer fill in his company name and address and phone number, etc., then , he chooses file volumn and license type ( just as I had described in another topic), then there will be a "final price" shown above the "checkout" button.

On this address form, the "country" field will be a dropdown list, to avoid any contry name error caused by manual inputting.

If the customer choose "Germany" as his country field value, then the VAT will be charged and shown beside the "final price". If he chooses any other country, there will be no VAT charged.

I think this is a good idea. Hope you will add this feature.
