TOPIC: file upload produces two files, one empty

My client reports that when she uploads new files via QuickSell, she gets 2 copies, one is 0 KB, the other legitimate. What might cause this, and should she just always delete the empty one?

No one else have reported such issue. This is very strange. Was the upload directory changed at some point?

Yes. We are migrating from PayPal for Docman to QuickSell. We changed the QuickSell config's directory setting to /joomlatoolsfiles/-docman-files/
QuickSell sees the files, makes buttons, etc.

But...
1. If we rename a file (e.g., via FTP) QuickSell's filelist displays both the old and new filenames.
2. The issue in the initial post.
Don't know if 1 & 2 are related.

Most likely it happened due to renaming?

What I mean is, no one reported such issue, it never occured in any case, so I am guessing directory switching or something casued it?

If problem persist though and newly uploaded files produce such errors, I would love to have a look.

As stated in my original post, it does indeed happen to newly uploaded files.
