TOPIC: Creating free downloads

Hello,
i tried to build a free download but it doesn´t work. As far i did the following things:
I created a new form with a button (id "form_submit")

First Question: what do i have to use as id : "form_submit" or id: form submit (without Double Quotation Marks)
Then i took a file selected my form and set direct download to "yes"
I placed the code of my form into my articel and pushed the button on my web-page but Nothing happens???

(all necessary components and moduls are switched on, relating to the tutorial Video!

(i also tried email_delivery without success, i build several buttons with several files no success )
