TOPIC: Sales charge the user through Paypal but no book

Sales charge the user through Paypal but no book 9 years 8 months ago #2461

I'm working on getting this setup and have run into a strange problem. The sales appear to work as expected, but the buyer never gets the thank you page with the download link. I have confirmed that Paypal is charging the account for the purchase, so that part is working. The thank you page has the requisite [ebook_thank_you] in its body (and nothing else), but it never appears. This is a hosted situation with a wordpress blog embedded inside the website, which is administered through cPanel. I believe the OS is linux.

Also, the orders don't register. IOW, when I go to the Orders selection under eBook Store, there are no entries, even though we've made three orders so far.

If I can't get help with this, I'm going to have to ask for a refund and find something else.

This problem was resolved by deselecting the Paypal verification in the Settings.

Thanks for the update!

There was a bug in 3.9 with the verification process, I released a fix and a bunch of new features.
