TOPIC: Updating eBook store removes pro version

I purchased the pro version of eBook store. Yesterday, Wordpress indicated that there was an update for the eBook store plugin, so I updated it just as I do all plugins. After the update I have been reverted to the free version. There really should be a way to return my pro version when updating. Now I need a new pro version to fix the problem.

I know what you mean, I will be adding a fix for that, the problem is wordpress does not allow custom update urls for plugins and overwrites the full one with the free copy.

Your original download link when you ordered the plugin will always provide you with the latest update, please use it!

I have the same problem as Paul and have had the same issue every time there is an update to the Pro Plugin. I do like this plugin but it is a real pain having to uninstall then download and do a fresh install every time there is an update!

That's fixed in the latest update!

After updating to 4.0 go to settings, fill in your paypal email used to buy the plugin, no more loosing of pro functionality since this update.

3.9 was a mess, with that new kid at home I released the sloppiest update ever, I promise that won't happen again and thank you all for the understanding.
