I notice that the following message appears next to PayPal Account on the plugin settings page:
Please note that you need to enable PayPal IPN in your PayPal.com profile. That's under Profile > My selling tools > Instant payment notifications. In the IPN url field enter your website address.

1. What does this mean?
2. Do I need to do this or is it OPTIONAL?
3. What do you mean by "web site address?"
4. What is the effect on the PLUGIN if you DO NOT activate IPN in Paypal(could it affect verification for example)?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hello Mike,

Actually paypal has different default settings for users around the globe and for some might work and for others it might not.

It's really recommended to have it on so paypal can tell the plugin about the order.

One more thing - in the latest update there is an important fix for the order verification.
