TOPIC: Protect Free Pdf direct download

Hi,

I'm trying to setup Free PDF download with the user email password protection, but when testing with any parameters I cannot have the download Thank you order link to have the PDF protect. It doesn't work. I was able to do it with Quicksell in joomla for several years, but now I cannot make it with Ebook store in Wordpress.

Even if I click : This feature enables password encryption for free files if the user is logged in. The account email address is used for the encryption process.

Hi, I came here searching for a similar answer.
I am trying to protect a free copy with the email and password of the user, but if I set the pdf as free the plugin doesn't add the watermark.
I tried with the paypal activated but it doesn't let me set the price as 0.00
Is there a way we can do this?

Looks like there is no answer and maybe no more support for this plugin. I found a promising alternative maybe it can also help you..
