TOPIC: Need "Add to Cart" option only

I have noticed in some previous forum messages, that you had some code that would eliminate the "Buy Now" button and only show the "Add to Cart" button.

That would be very helpful to me in my current project. Is that available for download, or could you post it here.

Also, when someone places an item in the cart, there is no visible feedback other than the item showing up in the cart.

If the cart module happens to be off the visible page, then the customer does not seem to get any feedback that their placement of the item in the cart was successful.

Am I missing something, or is that a feature that could be considered for a future update.

I was able to locate (and remove) the code that generated the "Buy Now" button.

I was using the style 0001 buttons, so I found the code in line 2 of
I simply changed the line to
It would still be nice if that were an option, though, when generating the button code.

I could still use some help on "give the buyer more feedback when something is placed in the cart" question, though.

I'm glad you figured it out, I was flying across europe back and forth for a vacation but I'm finally back.

Regarding the feature suggestion - Good idea, will be added for sure.

Regarding the visual feedback thing - the module should be available on each page you have add to cart button to avoid confusion. I'm open to suggestions if any.

Yes, I have the cart module showing on all pages where it is needed.

It is just that the main order page is quite long, and the cart is in the right sidebar of the page and has often scrolled off the top of the screen.

That's where some visual feedback on the click would be helpful.
